The Geometry of Connection
Service Description
The Geometry Language Lab is a hands-on geometry course that moves beyond drawing shapes into constructing systems. Rooted in Montessori principles and an engineering mindset, this course guides learners through geometry as a living language, built through the hand, seen through the eye, understood through the mind, and expressed through culture. Students work with compass and straightedge to uncover the hidden structures behind patterns, develop precision and spatial reasoning, and explore how geometry connects to nature, art, and architecture. Students will learn: How to use compass and straightedge tools with precision. How to construct geometric forms, patterns, and tessellations. How symmetry, proportion, angles, and transformations create structure and design. How to think spatially and solve problems through construction. How to move from hands-on exploration to abstract geometric understanding.
